Six days in an overwater villa, snorkelling on the reef and a seaplane transfer.
For honeymoons and quiet weeks. After landing in Malé you transfer to the resort by seaplane — the flight alone is worth it. The reef starts a few metres from the villa, so snorkelling needs no boat.
Land in Malé, fly to the resort by seaplane (~30 min) and settle into the villa.
Snorkelling on the house reef in the morning, a boat out to the outer reef after lunch.
No plan: beach, spa or water sports. An evening boat out to watch dolphins.
A trip to a neighbouring inhabited island — everyday Maldivian life and local food.
Another open day. Sunset from the sandbank in the evening.
Check out, seaplane back to Malé and the flight home.
We spent our honeymoon here. The seaplane flight is a story of its own — nothing below but turquoise water and rings of islands. Thanks to the organisers, everything was spot on.
